Ping is a great tool for notifying that your blog has a new article. If you are using a WordPress for your blog, you can do this your admin: Go to Settings and then Writing. If you have “Update Services” at the bottom of you setting page. You can input the blog search engines, so when you publish a new post, it will notify them. Here’s my setting:
